Happy Thursday and as promised here is my quick review of the new version of my favorite web browser Firefox. In a nutshell this edition is better on all fronts than Firefox 2 and you should rush to download it. (Get it here). This Firefox is leaner, faster, and more secure than FF2 and it beats the crap out of Internet Explorer 7.
There are some changes to get used to like the "Awesome Bar" that does not really do much for me - but that is likely because I do not know of all the cool stuff I could do with it. There are also some new browser bugs that I have run into (like Hotmail not loading up in Full mode) but those will soon be sorted out and are not a deal breaker in any way. Basically, if you want to browse the net as quickly and safely as possible than Firefox is your best bet. You can also feel good that it is open source software and not owned by a evil multi-national corporation like Microsoft.
