HD DVD Musings and funny but not true video

So for Christmas I got a Toshiba HD A2 HD DVD Player - it is really nice and HD DVD's look great even on my old ass HDTV. But the last few weeks have been bad for the HD DVD camp. This Youtube video sums it up in a pretty funny manner.



The video shows Hitler as HD DVD when Blu Ray is more like the Nazi's with it's crazy DRM and copy protection. HD DVD is region free and better for consumers - so it will likely not win the format war.

There is an online petition to save HD DVD that you should take a few seconds and sign - it will not make any difference but it is worth a shot.

I plan on keeping and enjoying my HD DVD player for a long time and hope to snatch up some cheap used HD DVD's in the coming months.
